Ways to partner

There is a place for everyone.

Funders, employers, institutes, community organisations and individuals each hold a piece of the path from potential to production.

Funders & CSR teams

  • Sponsor a cohort in a district you choose, from first contact to placement.
  • Open a field location at an institute, community centre or industrial cluster.
  • Build a new trade course, or bring a new Indian language online.

Why fund NLightN

Four reasons your rupee travels further.

We combine a team that builds technology with a model that puts people in the field, and we measure as we go.

01

Proven builders

Our team has built AI tools used by thousands of learners and by foundations across India.

02

Measured from day one

Learning happens on an AI-native platform, so outcomes are tracked learner by learner, not estimated.

03

Inclusion by design

Programmes are designed for young women, rural youth, first-generation learners and people with disabilities from the start.

04

Built to repeat

Repeatable programmes on one platform, delivered by local field teams, so what works in one district can move to the next.

CSR alignment

Fits Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013

  • Item (ii): promoting education, including employment-enhancing vocational skills, especially among women and the differently abled, and livelihood enhancement projects.
  • Item (iii): promoting gender equality and empowering women.

  • Regular progress updates drawn from live platform data.
  • Stories from the field, shared with learners' consent.
  • Financial reports on how funds were used.
  • An open door: visit a cohort and see the work for yourself.
Questions

What funders and partners ask us.

Is NLightN Foundation a registered not-for-profit?

Yes. NLightN Foundation is a not-for-profit company registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013. Write to us for our registration and compliance documents.

Can we fund work in a particular place or community?

Yes. Projects are planned around a place and a group of learners. Tell us where you want to work and who you want to reach, and we will design the project with you and local partners.

Do learners pay for the programmes?

Our programmes for young people are designed to be free for learners, funded by CSR and philanthropic partners. Cost should never be the reason someone misses out.

Can our company use the platform for our own employees?

Yes. We can introduce you to Learnr and help you set it up for your own workforce. The Foundation can also help you hire and prepare new cohorts through our Inclusive Workforce programme.

Do you work with NGOs outside manufacturing?

Yes. Through our AI consulting and training, we help NGOs, foundations and their leaders in any field put AI to work: strategy, hands-on builds, and training for teams and boards.

Which languages do you teach in?

Lessons and voiceovers are in Indian English today. The voice engine we use already speaks ten Indian languages, and adding them is next on our roadmap. Funding a language helps it arrive sooner.

How do you use AI responsibly?

AI supports our trainers; it does not replace them. Voice recordings are never stored, only transcripts. Scores are worked out on our servers, and each company's data is kept separate. We are happy to walk you through our data practices in detail.
